This converter cable passively converts from Mini Displayport to DVI in Full HD. This means you can transfer a video signal from a PC, laptop or tablet with a Mini DisplayPort interface to a monitor or beamer with a digital DVI input. The signal can only be converted in this direction and not vice versa.
