The adapter adapts an mSATA SSD as a 2.5-inch SATA drive. After installation in a PC or notebook, the drive appears as a standard SATA device and you can set it up as a bootable medium. It supports mSATA modules of SATA and USB type and additionally offers operation in USB 2.0 mode via the Mini-USB interface. Drivers are not required.
In professional IT environments, for on-site installations and in service deployments, it facilitates your upgrades, data transfers, and system migrations, because existing 2.5-inch drive bays and SATA cabling can continue to be used.
