Analog audio connections via RJ45 without active devices
- Room-to-room transmission: Route analog stereo signals over passive structured RJ45 cabling using patch cables.
- Simple setup: Passive operation without power supply or active network devices.
- Flexible connectors: 2x RCA plugs and 1x 3.5 mm jack plug connect common sources and receivers.
- Longer distances possible: Up to 50 m depending on conductor cross-section and contact resistance of the patch cable.
- Ready to use: Set with 2 adapters and approx. 10 cm connection cable each.
The passive adapter set enables the transmission of analog stereo audio signals over existing RJ45 cabling. Patch cables are used to connect between 2x RCA or 1x 3.5 mm jack and an RJ45 socket. This allows you to quickly set up connections between rooms without additional active devices.
In professional IT environments, for on-site deployments and in service operations, existing infrastructure can be used efficiently. Existing patch panels and cable routes enable temporary or permanent audio connections between rooms without laying new cables.
